◆ Product Overview:
A manual control mechanism is a device used for manually operating valves and other equipment. It is usually used as a backup operation method for electric or other automatic control methods to ensure reliable operation of the equipment when automatic control malfunctions or manual intervention is required.
◆ Working principle:
The working principle of the hand-operated mechanism is based on the mechanical transmission principle. When the operator turns the handwheel, the rotational force of the handwheel is transmitted to the connected components of the equipment through the transmission mechanism, such as the valve stem of the valve or other actuating mechanisms, thereby driving the equipment to perform corresponding actions. For instance, in a gate valve, the rotation of the handwheel moves the valve stem up and down through the transmission mechanism, which in turn drives the gate to rise and fall, thus achieving the opening and closing operation of the valve.
◆ Performance characteristics:
- Easy operation: The equipment can be operated simply by turning the handwheel, without the need for complex operation skills or professional knowledge.
- High reliability: As a backup operation method, hand-operated mechanisms usually have a relatively simple structure and rely less on electronic components and complex control systems. Therefore, they have high reliability in harsh environments or emergency situations.
- Strong applicability: Different types and specifications of manual operating mechanisms can be designed according to the requirements of different equipment and working conditions to meet the manual operation needs of various valves, actuators and other equipment.
